Horses are said to have been introduced into
China nearly 4000 years B.C. There are very ancient records of a breed,
peculiar to one district, that used to sweat blood--an odd characteristic also
attributed to old time Spanish Andalusians
and to the occasional Arabian
horse.
China is also home to the Manchurian horse and various breeds
of Mongolian horse.
