Names: Württemberg. Named for the region in Germany where it originated.
Origin: Germany, Württemberg; stud: Marback. A medium-heavy German riding horse of Anglo-Norman type without Arab admixture. Named after the province in which it is mainly bred.
Breeding: In the Anglo-Norman class with quite a high proportion of Arab blood. All horses registered with the Württemberg Warm-blood Association are considered as Württemberg warm-blood horses.
Description: Medium-heavy, strong, not-too-big warm-blood horse. Short legged.
