Brazil

Horse/Light Horse

Mangalarga

In 1964 there were around 16 million horses in Brazil alone.  In the hot arid regions of northern Brazil, the original arrivals were of the Barb type of Andalusian, characteristics they have retained, allied to the typical "tucked-up" line of the desert horse.
Brazil is also home to the Crioulo and Campolino breeds.
