The numerous small flower heads of this introduced perennial are each less than 1/4 inch across, but in the aggregate form larger clusters 2-3 inches broad. The leaves, divided into many narrow segments, have a feathery appearance. A naturalized and somewhat weedy escape from cultivation, Yarrow grows in pastures, old fields, and waste places more or less throughout the state and much of the eastern U.S. May-October [Justice, William S. and Bell, C.
