Educational Website

The purpose of this site is to bring nature closer to you.  We are designing this site for educational and informational purposes.  While no project can be considered exhaustive, we are attempting to research several books on each specimen to give as complete information as possible.  Currently all pictures are from western North and South Carolina and eastern Tennessee.  As we are able to travel to more localities we will expand to more regions.  We began are picture taking with an HP Photosmart 612 Digital Camera, but in September, 2002 we upgraded to an Olympus C-2500L Digital Camera.
