antalgic gait:  self-protective limp due to pain, characterized by a short stance phase on the affected leg.

CamptodactylyBilateral flexion deformities of fingers.  It is an infrequent deformity, which may occur in infancy, or may develop later on in childhood.

modified Duran:  passive (modified Duran) flexion mobilization regimes postoperatively
epiphysiodesisthe surgical reattachment of a separated epiphysis to the shaft of its bone
Salter Fracture: I - IV.  See table below.
Schober test: Measures flexion of the low back.
TENS unit:  A Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator, or TENS, unit is designed to relive post-operative, acute and chronic pain. It is used for pain caused by peripheral nerves and not central. TENS units are prescription-only devices.
TFCC:  triangular fibrocartilage complex
UCB or UCBL: Brace to help prevent leg rotation.

I Shearing separation of epiphysis from metaphysis
II Small segment of metaphysis taken with epiphysis
(Thurston-Holland fragment)
III Intra-articular epiphyseal without epiphyseal plate injury
IV Vertical through metaphysis, epiphyseal plate and epiphysis
V Crush Injury of epiphysis

85% are type I or II - good prognosis

Collateral ligament avulsion injuries are usually type II or III

Mallet fractures are usually type I
