James Nicholson

Born:  Circa 1828, Ireland.

Died:  November 6, 1876, Washington, DC.

Buried:  Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

    Nicholson emigrated to America around age 25. He lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for almost two decades, and was a member of the Wharton Street Methodist Episcopal Church (William Kirkpatrick was there at the same time). Around 1871, he moved to Washington, DC, and worked as a clerk in the Post Office Department.
