James Chadwick

Born: April 24, 1813, Drogheda, Ireland.

Died:  May 14, 1882, Newcastle, England.

Buried:  Ushaw College, Durham, England.

    Chadwick was educated at Ushaw College, Durham, where he was ordained in 1836, and successively became Professor and President. In 1866, he became the Roman Catholic Bishop of Newcastle. In addition to many pastoral letters, his works include:
