Hummus* From the Kitchen of Serendipity Ranch |
2 c cooked garbanzos 1/2 c water 1/4 c lemon juice |
1 T beef seasoning 1 t garlic powder 1/2 c tahini |
Liquefy all but tahini until smooth. Add tahini slowly and work well through the mixture. This may require stopping the blender and stirring with a spatula to keep the mixture from bogging down. Be careful not to catch your spatula in the blender blade! Refrigerate. May be used as a sandwich spread or dip for chips, crackers, or raw veggies (finger foods). |
