Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Born:  February 27, 1807, Portland, Maine.

Died:  March 24, 1882, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

    Brother of hymnist Samuel Longfellow, Henry was one of the best known American poets of the 19th Century.
