Extracorporeal Shock-wave Lithotripsy

ANESTHESIA: Local sedation.
PROCEDURE: Extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy left renal calculus.
PRE- AND POSTOP DIAGNOSIS: Left renal calculus.
TECHNIQUE: Patient was taken to the Lithotripsy Unit, and placed on the lithotripsy table, positioned with the left flank over the shock-wave generator. Using ultrasound control, the patient’s position was within the maximum shock-wave focus. The patient then received 2,500 shocks between level 4 and 5. The patient tolerated the procedure and was taken to post-anesthesia recovery room in satisfactory condition.
