Nag: A
term that today usually refers to an old, broken-down horse, but which originally
meant simply a small horse or a pony.
Navicular disease: A corrosive ulcer on the navicular bone, almost always confined to the forefeet. Due to concussion, the horse becomes very lame. Nicker: A low chuckling sound horses make when they see someone or something they love. |
