Names: Native Mexican, Native Mexican Horse.
Origin: The majority are undoubtedly descendants of those horses left behind in the 16th century by Cortés.
Breeding:
Description: Comes in several different types, based on Arab, Spanish (probably Andalusian) or Criollo. Any color.
Size: Usually about 15 hands.
Temperament:
Features: Versatile.
Uses: They are general saddle horses and indispensable for most forms of activity, work or pleasure. Bull-fighting, saddle, working with stock.
