|Cream of Potato Soup*
From the Kitchen of Serendipity Ranch
|1 gallon water
1 lg. onion, chopped finely
8 to 12 potatoes, diced
1/2 cup celery, chopped w/tops
2 T McKay's chicken seasoning
1 t salt
1/2 package of noodles - I prefer the finer ones, if you can get them
2 c milk - I use Better than Milk powder and mix it up in a separate container with some water off of the potato soup to make sure it gets well mixed, and then pour it into the soup already mixed up.
|Place onion, celery, potatoes and
seasonings in water. Cover and cook until done.
Uncover and add noodles - approximately 20 minutes before ready to serve - and let them get cooked through before serving.
Remove from heat. Add milk and serve.
