Cream of Broccoli Soup* From the Kitchen of Serendipity Ranch |
1 lg. onion, chopped 2 T McKay's chicken seasoning 2 c celery, chopped w/tops 1/4 t sweet basil 1 bunch fresh broccoli |
1/2 t garlic powder 2-3 c water 4 c cashew milk (see cashew milk receipe on home page) salt to taste |
Place onion, celery, broccoli stems and seasonings in enough water to cover. Cover and cook until done. Liquefy cooked vegetables and return to sauce pot. Steam broccoli flowers separately. Add steamed broccoli flowers and cashew milk to liquefied vegetables. Do not cook further. Let set to thicken. |
