Cheezy Potatoes or Cheezy Mac* From the Kitchen of Bob Shepard |
10 medium potatoes,
fewer if they are large or 1 lb. Whole Wheat or Vegetable Macaroni. In a saucepan cook until soft: 3 Potatoes 1 large Carrot, peeled and cubed |
Blend together: Cooked Potatoes and Carrot 1/2 c Water, can be water from potatoes and carrot. Add additional water only to keep blender going. 1/2 c Nutritional Yeast Flakes 1/2 c Vegetable Oil 1 t Salt 1 t Onion Powder 1/2 t Garlic Powder 2 T Chicken Seasoning |
Scrub and cook 10 potatoes
just until starting to get soft. Let them cool. Peel and grate them, or
put them through the large shredder on a food processor. For Mac use Whole Wheat or Vegetable Elbow Macaroni. Mix with cheese sauce and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 to 60 minutes. |
