Note the back of the white bird just to the left of the satellite dish.

Note the post you can see between the van and the step rail in the far distance.

Note the log coming down into the water across the canal between the two posts.

This is the same log as in the picture above.

This gives you an idea how close to the canal we are.
Almost every morning there have been turtles out sunning themselves on this log.
